The Academy is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, cultural and educational organization. The Academy welcomes all students and faculty regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnic or national origin, and does not discriminate in its hiring practices or in the administration of its work study or scholarship programs.

For the safety of our students, the Academy maintains a strict ZERO TOLERANCE policy in regard to physical or verbal abuse, harassment, theft, vandalism and the use of any and all illegal substances. Enrollment of any student found in violation of this policy will be terminated. Refunds will not be considered for students in violation of Academy policy.

LIABILITY: The school and the instructors are not liable for personal injuries or loss or damage to personal property. Since dance is a physical activity, injuries may occur. Each student is responsible to inform the instructor of any physical limitations that may prevent full participation in class. The Academy reserves the right to use any photography or video reproduction taken during the course of a program or class for promotional purposes.

PAYMENT POLICIES:

Registration will not proceed unless accompanied by full payment. A $10 fee will be assessed for every date, session or class switched per student after initial registration unless initiated by Academy due to class size.  50% will be refunded if cancellation is  made at least 7 business days prior to the start of a class or session. No refunds will be issued after the start of the program. Sessions are not prorated for missed days. Complete refunds will be issued if a program is cancelled for insufficient registration. The Academy reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment.

There will be a $30 return check fee for any checks returned by the bank or for deposit difficulties caused by canceled or over – extended credit cards.

Full and partial need – based SCHOLARSHIPS are available on a limited basis, as are a limited number of WORK STUDY OPPORTUNITIES . Applications for all scholarships are available in the office.
