For complete information about the Academy’s policies, please refer to our Parent/Student Handbook by clicking this link:
The Academy is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, cultural and educational organization. The Academy welcomes all students and faculty regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnic or national origin, and does not discriminate in its hiring practices or in the administration of its work study or scholarship programs.

For the safety of our students, the Academy maintains a strict ZERO TOLERANCE policy in regard to physical or verbal abuse, harassment, theft, vandalism and the use of any and all illegal substances. Enrollment of any student found in violation of this policy will be terminated. Refunds will not be considered for students in violation of Academy policy.

LIABILITY: The school and the instructors are not liable for personal injuries or loss or damage to personal property. Since dance is a physical activity, injuries may occur. Each student is responsible to inform the instructor of any physical limitations that may prevent full participation in class. The Academy reserves the right to use any photography or video reproduction taken during the course of a program or class for promotional purposes.

Weather Cancelation Policy:
The APA School follows the Nauset School System; so, if Nauset cancels due to inclement weather, the APA School will also cancel classes.  There will be a message on the School Machine regarding any cancelation; as well as being posted on both the WQRC website http://www.wqrc.com/page.php?page_id=26578 and on the Academy of Performing Arts facebook page  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Academy-of-Performing-Arts/132542933454141 .
