Musical Theatre Workshops
( 7/5-7/9, #2 7/12 – 7/16, #3 7/19-7/23, #4 7/26-7/30, #5 8/2 – 8/6,

Workshop participants should bring a snack with them and should wear sneakers
1 week sessions
Level I ((ages 8 – 11)
Level II ages (12 and up)
Mondays through Fridays 9:30 – 11:30
$135 per week 10% discount for multiple weeks
Learn songs and choreography from the musical theater world of Broadway. Students will work with music directors and choreographers learning to combine song and dance to create their own magical piece of theater. The week ends with an informal presentation for family and friends.
Mini Musical Theatre
1 week sessions
(ages 5-7)

Musical theatre for the younger crowd. You too can learn songs and dances from Broadway.
| DANCE INTENSIVES |

Dance Intensive I (Elementary Level - ages 9-12)
July 12-16 12:00 – 3:00

This workshop allows younger students to explore different styles of dance. Ballet technique, Jazz, and Modern classes will all be offered; as well as the opportunity to play ensemble building theatre games. Week-long workshop will conclude with an in-studio presentation for family and friends.
Dance Intensive II (Beg. Intermediate Level – ages 13 &)

This workshop will begin, each day, with a ballet technique class. Students will also be offered classes in Pointe/Rep, Modern, Jazz, Improvisation, and Body Conditioning. Week-long workshop will conclude with an in-studio presentation for family and friends.
Ballet Intensive (Intermediate/Advanced Level)
Saturday, July 24th 3:00 – 6:00
$40
This 3 hour, Intermediate/Advanced Level, Saturday workshop will be taught by internationally recognized principal ballerina and teacher, . The focus will be on proper alignment, pirouettes, refined pointe work, and the development of artistry.

Dress Code Summer 2010
Musical Theatre Song & Dance: All students should wear comfortable attire that you can easily move in. Sneakers must be worn. No flip-flops.
Pink tights, Pink Ballet Slippers, Solid Color Leotard. Hair in a bun.
Black jazz pants, T-shirt , tap shoes, females hair in a ponytail.
Black jazz pants, T-shirt , bare feet, females hair in a ponytail.
Comfortable attire that you can easily move in, appropriate shoes for dance form and females have hair pulled back.

Fee & Refund Policies
Registration will not proceed unless accompanied by full payment. A $10 fee will be assessed for every date, session or class switched per student after initial registration unless initiated by Academy due to class size. 50% will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 7 business days prior to the start of a class or session. No refunds will be issued after the start of the program. Sessions are not prorated for missed days. Complete refunds will be issued if a program is cancelled for insufficient registration. The Academy reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment.
